89 305 tbi to 350 tbi
I was wondering if this would work...
My brother has an auto 89 Firebird with a 350 TBI swap.
Would there be any possible hazards with swapping a chip and injectors from a 1992 chevy suburban 350 auto? Would the computer be able to read the chip?

i believe the chips are way different,the 89 has the small chip whereas the 92 has the long mem-cal style I THINK!open the pcm's and check.the pcm i have in my s10 is from a 92 1500p/u and it has the long mem-cal.
i would definately use the injectors for a 5.7
