I have a 350 block that may need to get new pistons and rods and maybe I might bore it. Question is can I throw my tbi unit with diff injectors and ecm on it? Its between an 82 and an 87 chevy trcuk motor. I think I might need a crank censor too or something just basically trying to see what I can do. I would def. like to keep fi.

 

Most of the parts on small block chevy's will interchange. You may need to get the right flexplate/flywheel depending on transmision type. Also I would recommend getting a carb style manifold with an adapter for the tbi unit. What type of ecm or set up do you currently have?? I would also highly recommend getting into chip tuning or an ebl set up. I just did this swap and the engine is out of an 80 p.u truck. It runs ok with my cam but I need the Computer retuned. Now Im just waiting for my EBL conversion and its all a go. Hope that this helps/
