pulling out the old 305

hey guys. i wrecked my car a month or so ago and am selling the motor. this is y first time pulling an engine. what should i expect and how much time should i allow? TIA

its will be a pain in the *** for the most part and i would say sence you've never done it before about 2 days to get it out

its a pain man, diconnecting everything and getting under the car to disconnect the tranny. Then we forgot about the automatic transmission lines and they started to come out with the engine. Just take your time with it, be careful with the lift, and if things start screwing up .. take a break. It can be a little fun if your in the right state of mind. We got my friends out in about 2 days. They disconnected mostly everything cept the transmission, the 1st day. and then i took them to borrow a lift, and we got it all out the second, but the only problem was we had to lift from the side because the nose was too long.

Axle/Gears: Moser/Strange 9" 3.73, spool
I pulled my engine in 2 or 3 hours on my own, but I have a manual tranny so it came right out, and I've done it two times before so I've had practice. Just remember, if you're jacing the engine up, and the whole front of the car is going up, then you forgot something.
