Chip selection for swap...
Chip selection for swap...
I have a 305 TPI longblock out of a 91 G92 camaro(L98 Cam)in my 92 RS currently. I am waiting for my 350 truck injectors to come back and i may put them on but can i run an ANLU chip or something else since i have the better heads and cam? Debating on this with the 305 knock sensor yet trying to get better stock fuel/timing curve from a fact chip. Will the stock chip work okay as long as i adj. fp and base timing?

Usually you want to start with a chip of the same displacement or at least the same bore. The 350 has larger bore so probably best to keep stock eprom for now. Yes you can adjust with fuel pressure and base timing. You will only be able to get it so so, not great. This is why a carb would probably work even better and perform better. Unless you get into custom eprom burning there is no way to get the most out of your new engine
