'427 BMHM application?
I just aquired a '427 computer with the "BMHM" code. I cant seem to find BMHM listed anywhere. I dont know what it came out of at all, I assume it was a 94-95 pickup of course, but thats all I know.
Any help greatly appreciated.

That appears to be using the $31 mask (upgradable with G1 adaptor) and was for the L03/305 w/ 4L60-E. If thats so, then its a direct swap for your current ECM with changes to the calibration when a 700-R4, TH400, etc. is in use. It also supports MPFI/TPI with the proper changes to the memcal to select the right injector firing mode.

Re: '427 BMHM application?
okay, I have as well determined that it is a $31. However I am not 100% sure about what engine it was for. I downloaded a BMHM bin from diy-efi and also have the "305BMHM" one ( I think I got it from moates.net).
The "305BMHM" bin I suspect has been modified for a 305. The cyl volume is set to 618.63cc and the injector flow is 75.93 in tunerpro with the $31 XDF.
The BMHM from Diy-Efi has the cylinder volume set at 923.46cc with the injector flow setting at 67.89.
i have not read mine yet, but will do so in the next few days. I am already happy to have found a real V8 calpak (a rare thing at a pick-ur-part) and am even more excited at the possibility of it having the right big block ESC unit. My project is a 496 big block powered 51 chevy pickup, and if I can find one it'll have a 4L80E.

Yes, this is why I'm looking at using the '427, it will do almost anything it seems. This setup will be using a tunnel ram intake with injector bungs welded in and probably a couple of gutted holley carbs on top as throttlebodies. I got all the hood clearence in the world, no need to try to change it to a front draft TB like the current trend.
