Hey I'd like to go too, especially to see Prevost's big 350 that is supposed to spank on us. I've got finals until the 20th, so I'm not sure if I can get down there, but we'll see. What day is that going to be, a friday nite? Sounds like one hell of a get together.

lol, my sloooow 350. Tim...what did randy run after he got the gears? Was that because he was lean
, maybe...hmm....
Let me put it this way: My car was SO lean on that run that I shut the car off and refused to run it any more. The darn thing wouldn't IDLE in open loop! It hurt your neck just sitting in the car and trying to accelorate because of the hesitation
Now that I fixed my thermo (broken) and have played with the eprom you can bet your @$$ I'm going to race. I just hope I fix my tranny mount. I'm going to try and drop the whole tranny and install the 2800 stall but I don't know if I'll have time to do that.
I also have my LCA relocation brackets waiting to be installed and I NEED them so bad. It's scary going around a corner (even dry hot weather) and shifting from 1st to 2nd under part throttle. I'm also going to scrap this POS problow air filter. From a few people I've talked to it dosn't flow for ****. Not to mention the darn thing is pushed right up against my hood. Tim, I'm going to do what you do...run no air cleaner at the track.
Do you have slicks I could bolt on? I can't get a 60' for the life of me with the street tread.

Jon, I thought we already had this conversation. My car is too rich. Oh, by the way, for you guys with adjustable fuel pressure regulators- JET says it's ok to drill a hole in the plate under your regulator to access the screw, so you don't have to take the whole thing apart to adjust it. Makes it much easier since you can do it while the car is running

I'll probalby have mine together by then
Figures i'll get the thing done and broken in for the last day of the season. Just in time for the snow.
I think they close that weekend and open the 2nd or third weekend in january.
I live around the corner from ATco dragstrip. I know a couple good places to grub round here.

Tim, I really don't know anybody that has some drag tread that would let me use them.
You and Randy are the only guys I know that have some wide tread. If it's possible I'd like to toss them on for at least one run.

Jon, I don't have drag tires either, what I've been using are a pair of slicked 255/60/15 radial t/a's. They get stickier then my pepboys tires, but they sure ain't drag tread. You are welcome to use'm if you can't find anything better, but from what I recall your street tread is decent. I don't even know if I can go, depends if I get my new tranny in by then. Somebody bring the man some racing skins!!

A buck!? double or nothin
My excuses are like this: You try getting a good time in the snow with a pickup making lots of torque! It seems like ever since I replaced my thermo the car has been running MUCH better. I still need to hookup a fuel pressure gauge to make sure there isn't any drop in pressure.
Tim, I'll bet you another 2 bucks you won't have your car together by the 15th

Got the ok to borrow my buddies (nicer than mine) trailer. I can put the 4.56 rear in the Wrangler to be competitive with you guys. Gonna go buy some of those cheapo 295/50/15 Pep boy tires, too. This is gonna be GREAT!!!
EDIT: I'll need the names, phone numbers and hours of the local NJ Jeep dealer, sped store, driveshaft shop and Dana supplier... LOL Gonna break something!!!

I'm going to try and get a friends laptop to use that way I'll try and let you all run the 1/4 with my older laptop running diacom.
The info will be good for you and more importantly me. Is that alright with everybody?
