P/N's or colors of 80 vs 90pph injectors

Anyone have any technical on these injectors? 454 OEM was either 80 or 90pph, I have heard. Just wondering if there are any tell-tale markings on them to distinguish them from each other.

I don't car if it is polished, I never had a conversation about a polished on e with anybody, maybe you confused me with someone else? As long as it is complete, that's all I care about... Damn, which i could get one NOW!!! Waiting for a phone call as we speak, but was supposed to call back about an hour ago and I have my kid here at work and I want to leave NOW!!!!

Guess I'm not making ATCO this time... I'm gonna put back on the 600cfm Edelbrock and play with it for a while until I get a 454 to PROM tune... The 350 unit is too small and the injectors are way too small. Lean at 5000+!

Didn't check the email, sorry.

I have a ProJection 2bbl with 85pph injectors... No IAC, though. I guess I could use that one with the GM ECU for the weekend, right??? Only has about 10 hours on it or so, too. I could PROM with it, drive it down and if I have any troubles with it, just put back in the 350 unit and the correct PROM

I've got a pair of brand new GM blue 454 injectors if you're interested. I paid way too much for them and the dealer won't take them back.

fastb, you had better be there. Sounds like you've got a bunch of options as of right now.
Did you download that excel file from the diy-efi.org ftp site? If you haven't, do it and use it. It makes tuning the VE tables only an hour job from scratch!!!
Hope you get what you need. I'd like to talk to somebody else that works with TBI prom burning.

speaking of high injector prices..i just got two of the cop car 65 pounders from the dealer, along with th vacuum AFPR. the AFPR ran like 46 bucks, and the injectors were $90 a piece. but, if i ever want to get this damn car running, i have to just bite the bullet and get the right parts i guess.

so now the hardware is all set....its time for software....

With all the dyno time you talked about, and you don't have a TB for your car?.

Ya, if you running too small of TB, and small of injector, a dual plane might seem like an answer, but those are problems.

Here I was hoping to hear how your TBI dual plane was going to do.

I've been running the 350cid TB with 55 and 65 pph injectors. Works quite well but running out of fuel/fuel pressure from the too small an external pump I have in the Wrangler now... I will only run DP's on any engine with a cam under 225deg intake duration at .050" lift. My testing and countless THOUSANDS of other testers show the same thing... I used a Strip Dominator SP vs Performer and Performer RPM on heavily modified 300hp SP350 heads and on ZZ4 toilet Aluminum heads. TB and carb showed essentially the same results with carb having slightly more overall top-end torque. I was a tuning "novice" then, using my Snap-On 5 minute movies...

Actually, I have to go through emmissions tomorrow... Sat am. This should be fun.

JRoy91, you can email me about the price you'd like for those injectors.

Still waiting on a 454 TB unit, though.
