Also which would be a good intake mnifold to go with the 454 TBI. It hasto be EGR equipted. i Was looking at the Edelbrock Performer TBI manifold but the top intake hole where only 1'' and my 454 TBI will be bored to 2''. does this matter? if so, should i bore out the manifold or does any oe know a better EGR equiped manifold?

Yes it is. It needs some modifications but it works. I think it needs a truck EGR valve or some deal but it isn't 50 state legal.

Use the edelbrock TBI manifold and have a GOOD machinist bore it to 2". Mine is actually 1.98 inches and I have had no problems . Pulls very strong to 5,500 and am working on getting that up to 6,000 + with my new fuel pump and some more tuning. Its a bold on deal. Everything fit on my 91. Good luck............bob
