adjustable **** for fuel pressure reg
Hey yall that has preformed the fuel pressure reg mod to your cars, did yall go a step beyond just sloting the screw. Could i replace the screw with a longer one so that it would stick out the hole and i could reach behind the TBI and adj by hand with out having to constaintly remove the 8 screws and then stick a screw driver in it?

You can replace the screw with a 1/4-28 allen head screw. The allen head screw needs to have a similar point on it like the stock screw so you might need to file and you'll need to drill the spring disc with a 7/32" or #3 drill and tap 1/4-28 UNF threads. This seems to be the best setup for easy adjustments with an allen key. If that's too much then get the holley TB unit and adjust the fuel pressure with the stock allen key screw which faces top side

yeah..the holley is MUCH easier to adjust. it's too bad that there isnt any "conversion" to make the GM pod adjustable without having to take it apart.

You can order the ***** from machine shop supply houses, like McMaster-Carr or others,
in any size you want, if you want to fab your own.

It's still a pain to get to if you have small hands... I just JB Welded a rod off of a scribe to mine, worked fine.
