my tach is not working right need help on shift points
ok so my tach is off by alot, well first things first does the stock 5.0 l03 305 have a factory redline shiftlight? beuacse my tach reads im at 7,000 rpm but it feels like im olny at like 4,000 rpm so i pushed it past 7,000 on the factory busted tach and a shift light poped on and i was like hmm.. so im just asking you guys what i should do, my buddy has a auto meter 5'' tach with shift light i might be able to use to see how close my rpm's are with the autometer
also is it ok to take my basicly stock L03 past redline? and were is the factory revlimiter if there is one thanks. o i forgot to even mention how so i even fix my broken tach???? or is it not posible or too much of a headace?
by the way my engine has 180,000 on the clock but it runs strong as hell....
