the car has new distributor,coil ,fuel pump and relay .oil pressure switch plugs ,wires ,still doesn't want to stay running .this morning it fired right up! i went out tonight to put it back in garage it stalled as fast as it fired up ,and the last time i believe i heard a backfire coming from exhaust.

 

What happens when you go to restart it? Does it start immediatly without issue? Flood, and then start ok? Flooding is a common isue with some of these cars due to the crude handling of the fueling when cranking. Also, how does it run otherwise?

 

yea i think it floods itself ,like it doesn't get fire all the time. cuz, i get good fuel pressure. then other times it fires right up and runs liike a striped a** ape. also the new plugs are turning black wzy too fast
