Keep my Edelbrock intake?
So, I bought a TBI performer intake when I planned to replace my leaking intake gasket. I've discovered that i may be able to seal it with RTV externally instead of taking the whole top end apart, so...
Should I keep it? I want to build my 305 in the next couple years, and it seems to me that Vortec heads are the best way to go...which, of course, the TBI performer is not compatible with. I assume I should send it back? Do Vortec heads with a GMPP TBI intake and an LT1 came make sense? Is this a common combo to try and tune? Sorry for all the random questions thrown together...any help is sincerely appreciated...

The intake? I can still return it to Summit for a 100% refund
I haven't even had it 3 weeks yet!
