TBI Problem, HELP!

TBI Problem, HELP!

I see how this guy set up his intake and made the cleaner into an open air element, but I asked him:

1) How did you get the metal snorkel attached to the air cleaner off? I have a metal snorkel attached to my air cleaner, and a plastic one facing out. Is it possible that my stock setup is different than yours?

2) How does your snorkel stay in place on the air cleaner? (How is it attached?)

3) I tried to use a 14" chrome Edelbrock open air cleaner, but it seems that it is slightly smaller than the stock one. The filter it came with is also larger, but it seems to fit very snug in my stock air cleaner. Can I replace the stock air cleaner with the slightly smaller Edelbrock air cleaner?

4) What about the small line (small tube) that runs into my air intake hose, do I just flip that around?

i got u man this is what u do go to wallmart and get an air filter a lil taller than the one in there may be 1 inch taller maybe 2 take ur top cover and flip it put new filter in tighten itt down i did this and noticed a big diff in acceleration.so get filter flip breather topur done make sure u didnt get one to big(airfilter)cause hood wont close do this and tell me if u feel a diff steve

just take that old hose and stuff off leave it off take ur filter in to wall mart with u get the same diameter just taller u can take back if not right height ull get it
