im not positive but i wouldnt see much of a gain through that because firebirds get about no air in there. its not like itll create a ram air effect because it wont where its positioned.

Since you are guessing, if the stock lo3 air intake set up is good for 170hp what hp range is my set up able to feed?

The scoop is cool even without boring holes int the vented hood. That means there is air flow.

With holes in the vented hood, the scoop + the first part of tubing gets easely cold. What do you call that kind of air flow? I actually got a significant fuel economy from this last modification.

My set up is basicly a flat base open element that doesent suck underhood air, basicly because with the open element I could feel a loss of power wen the engine was hot to the point the radiator keeps turning nonstop.

Here some links to what streats we drive, you will have to be stomping the gas pedal all the time just to normally drive home.

Dont clean the underhod, give a look at the black dirty spots that form over years and you will find out were the air comes from.
If I dident have a hood with the grilles, I would have bored some holes trough the sheet metal between the radiator and the front bumper and have the air blow up from below like the tpi camaros.
