Intake/TBI bore matching questions
I have a Holley TBI with the GM 454 injector pod and GMPP intake (because of my Vortec heads). The bores in the throttle body are 2" and the bores in the intake are 1 7/8". My question is has anyone made the bores in their intake match the bores in their throttle body? Are you happy with the results? Did you lose or gain anything? Would you do it again?

Re: Intake/TBI bore matching questions
From what I know you need to open up the bores in the manifold to match the 2" bores in the throttle body. A step like that can be a killer on horsepower.

This is on a truck (2 wheel drive, regular cab) so I wonder if I'd notice a loss of bottom end torque?
