Iac settings?

Im just wondering if it is ok to reduce the IAC settings in the prom to reduce them at a certian RPM/Temp?? I currently have my tps voltage at about .85v and I think that it should be at about 1.17 or less. Now I know that is probably fine but my iac counts in the bin are set at 19 during warm temps. Can I reduce these setting and then turn the idle set screw up a little to get more air flowing through the throttle body?? THanks for any help!!

Re: Iac settings?

On the DIY_PROM board, Tuning Guide sticky, under the '7747 ECM, is an article about how the '7747 IAC operates. Along with some set up hints.

Running 5 - 10 IAC setps on a warm idle in park/neutral, no A/C, no backlight heater (etc...) as read from a scan tool is best.
