I'm working on the same deal withmy gmc, I don't think i'll go vortec, but I would suggest using this intake if your sticking with a TBI (I will be) ...oh make sure you chip it afterwards.... www.tbichips.com

I would strongly advise you to use the holley TBI since it flows 670cfm:

You can find those cheaper somewhere on the web... good luck

This is more of a TBI question than Engine Swap. I'll let the mods there decide if it lives or dies.

The TBI.com chip is junk, just like about any mail order tune. You'll need to learn to tune yourself if you want it run well and make power. The equipment only cost about $150, or be prepared to pay big bucks to have it dyno tuned.

I've heard a few good things about those. I would'nt order just any chip, and plus you can call and brian can chip things according to what mods you have (engine)
To tell ya the truth, I would rather chip my own tho, if you have time then do that...

It is IMPOSSIBLE to make a up a tune based on a mod list....just can't be done no matter how good you are.

buy the equipment and I'll make you a starting point.....it only takes 5 minutes. He's charging big money for information that is given away here freely.
