Crosswing Intake on a TBI

Has anyone used a Crosswind intake (by Professional Products) on their TBI motor. I read somewhere before that the airgap causes some odd temperature differential, that causes startup problems...

Thanks

Re: Crosswing Intake on a TBI

Im running the PRM-Airgap and in negtative temps it starts up just fine!! You may notice a bit of a hesitation for the first few minutes of driving but other than that it works great for me. I have tuned the chip to compensate for most of the problems associated with an unheated manifold. Can you burn your own chips/ecm?? If not you may need to get it tuned after the intake swap.
