I have an 89 formula with a 305 TBI and was wondering if this would fit or not. Also where can I find a smog pump delete kit. I cant seem to find any for my car on summit. Thanks Ryan

your TBI will fit any standard 4 barrel carb air cleaner. This one is listed as "dominator" style. i believe the flange is larger than a standard size. you cuold pick one up from auto zone for the same price.

Yea I went to autozone yesterday and all they had was the edelbrock and some other brand, but they were both drop base. I here its better to get the flat base ones due to clearence with the distributor and coil and what not. Could someone post a link of one that would fit my car, that way ill know what exactly to get. Thanks

the drop base air cleaner is what will fit most easily. the factory air cleaner has a drop base and there is a spacer between the cleaner and the TBI. the benefit of using a flat base air cleaner without the factory spacer would be that the air can come in from the sides without squeezing around the fuel injector pods, but you might have issues with clearance for the throttle linkage if you don't use the spacer. an easy way to check for clearance it to take a pizza box or something, cut a 14" diameter circle, use your spacer flange or just your air cleaner gasket to cut out the center circle, and slip it over your TBI. then you can determine if the flat base cleaner will fit without a spacer.
