I have problems with my electronic spark control after engine rebuilding. I removed my LO3 engine out of the car, modernised all gaskets and seals, installed TPI-HEADS (081) and an edelbrock 3704 intake manifold. Then, i installed the engine in my car. The idle is perfect. Engine running very nice. But I´ve some problems with the spark. The sparkwires and the head from the distributor are new. But I have these problems only if the engine is hot. I open the throttle complette, close a little bit and open the throttle again, then i´ll have a flame in the TBI-Unit. Backfires.
In this moment, i have the troublecode 43 (electronic spark control malfunction). What can I do ? Have you an idea ?
