Will not start-92 TBI
Ok here goes...
The car has been sitting for some time(5 or so years) and Im gonna start driving it soon. The fuel filter got changed and it is getting fuel up front.
The car will sometimes start but will only run for a few seconds and it runs rough.
I pulled the dist. cap to check and se if everything looked ok there and the rotor broke off. While I was looking at it I noticed a little piece of metal sitting in there loose. it was under the part that the rotor sits on)\(it kinda looks like a collar) it is rusty and it just came right out.
So what is it and what might the problem be as to why it wont run. The car has no mods except for exhaust and has 84k miles on it.
