more Crossfire problems

Heya guys I have an 83 camaro with a crossfire injection setup on a 350. Iv been having this problem with it stalling when its warm in stop and go traffic. On the highway and short trips its fine but to much stop and go it will start running like CRAP and try to stall.. i sometimes have to hold the throttle to the floor to keep it running!. and if it does stall i have to hold the throttle to the floor and crank for like 5 secs before it even wants to think of starting back up. i checked for vacume leaks and there is none. what else could be causing this problem!?

Re: more Crossfire problems

Sounds like it may be flooding. Holding the pedal to the floor while cranking is a clear flood mode. It causes the ECM to reduce the injector PW.

Pull the air cleaner and hot wire the fuel pump on. Then look at the injectors for dripping fuel. If any it most likely is the O-rings for the injectors.

Yes, the CTS will do it. If the connector becomes intermittent or the sensor starts to go bad it can tell the ECM that the engine is colder then it really is. With that the ECM adds a bunch more fuel.
