Hi I just picked up an 89 Formula with 46000 miles.

Car had been sitting at least a year.
We have siphoned the old gas out and ran pump dry.
have put in new gas almost 1/2 tank.
Put new gaskets on throttle body and cleaned the Injectors.
..............If put Pour gas directly in TB will run for about 30 seconds fine.

After that need to keep pumping pedal to keep it running.

Question is do you think i still have bad gas in the line or could it be something else.
