Re: Crossfire and TBI?

That pn is from the LU5 (305) CFI engine, per:

http://www.crossfire.homeip.net/cfte...ID=18&CAT_ID=1

CFI is fed by two single-bore TBI units, but the injectors for CFI are externally the same as those used on std 262 v6, and 305, 350, and 454 v8 TBI engines. So they'll fit and work.

What I don't know if whether the flow rate for them at stock fuel pressure will be slightly low, because the GM rating for the LU5 was (?) 150 hp and the LO3 was 170 hp. So you will need to check the plugs & tailpipe as a rough estimate to see if you need to slightly up the fuel pressure. HTH.

The LU5 was rated at 165hp. Low pressure tbi injectors are rated at the same pressure.

Re: Crossfire and TBI?

Perfect. 165 hp is close enough to 170 hp.... so there should be no need to worry about the fuel pressure.
