Urgent Help needed !
Where do you guys get injectors ?
I have a bone stock 89 RS (305 TBI) that wont pass an emission test and I have a bit of a miss ( thus the high idle and 2500 rpm HC readings ) anyway on looking down the throat it is clear my injectors are not spraying a decent pattern. I donthave time to send em out to be cleaned so i thought I would just replace em .....
Heart attack time Dealer quoted 483.00 EACH ( keep in mind I paid 500 bucks for the whole care ) and the parts houses in town are getting anywhere from 189 to 289 each for them ( and of course they dont have em in stock )
where do i go to be sure of getting good quality injectors and how much should I expect to pay for them ?
is there any tricks to maybe a garage possible cleaning ?

I've been using this with good results. I don't know how it will work on a very dirty unit though. You might have to take the injectors apart and change the screens if they are beyond cleaning and soak the injectors in the solution.
