edelbrock intake
does will this intake increase power right now, and for future mods or is it the exact same thing as the stock intake just made of aluminum?

Re: edelbrock intake
Your stock intake manifold likely already is aluminum.
Nobody seems to jump and down too much about these Edelbrock TBI manifolds so I suspect the HP gains are marginal.
Assuming you've already improved your exhaust, your best bang for your buck HP gain is probably a new cam, LT1 cams work well in mostly stock TBI engines.

Re: edelbrock intake
If you can find a used one for a good price its definitely worth it. I got mine used a few years back from ebay and I didn't regret it. Worth it if you plan on headers, full exhaust, open element, cam/rocker arms, upgrade/modified TBI, etc.
