I replaced my tired 305 in my 89 RS with a GM goodwrench 350 truck crate engine. Only upgrades were a Comp Cams 260H cam. I also bought a Holley 670 Projection TBI and a Holley Projection alum. intake. It runs really well but has a bad stumble when you stomp unless you load the converter with the brakes first. Will the swap of the Holley unit help or hurt this if I swap before I get the chip correct. I know this is TBI section but would I be better off to swap to a carb with this set up? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

 

Sounds like you need more AE added in the chip for when you stomp it. Need to tune.........and yes if you add the Holley it will need even more
