Voltage Problem.

Hello,

I recently had a complete tune-up performed ( plugs/wires/cap/rotor/coil-high output ) and a new starter put in, aswell as a alternator.

My tune up parts is a kit from hypertech, cap/rotor/coil, ngk platinum spark plugs and ACCEL wires.

Basically, i'm having problems with voltage now, it used to run 14+ volts 24/7, now it goes up and down, but only when the car warms up is when it starts dropping volts, at idle it will dip down to 12 volts ( lights dimmed at night ) then when u hit the gas its back to normal, and at full speed and warm 13 max.. i also put in a brand new 140 amp powermaster alt and same problem, so its not that, might i note the idle also is different, now when cold it's at 1200 rpms and dips back to 600-800 when warm.

Any ideas? faulty coil? it was fine before.. i'm lost.

Car specs:
88 formula 305 tbi
flowmaster 80 series, cat delete.
Hypertech 160 stat and fan-switch.
K&N Open-Element.
Summit Dual Row Aluminum Radiator.

Re: Voltage Problem.

This might be unrelated, but i pulled off the vacume hose off the EGR valve when the car is started, and there is no vacum from the valve or the hose? faulty EGR or something else? unless its not suppose too which i doubt.

still having a voltage problem tho.
