IS my TPS adjustable?

I seem to be seeing a lot of mention that my stock 92 RS will NOT have an adjustable TPS, is that true for 100% of them or do they have different types?

Re: IS my TPS adjustable?

The stock one isn't adjustable, it doesn't need to be. As long as the TPS volts at idle is between .45 and .95 volts it is good to go (I think that actual range is greater then that).

Re: IS my TPS adjustable?

Thanks man - I am checkin my IAC this w/e andf I read that u have to adjust the TPS after adjusting the IAC, but I guess the non-adjustable ones have a wide enough range it doesn't matter then.

Thanks

Re: IS my TPS adjustable?

For a TBI setup the best IAC adjustment is to get it between 5 and 10 steps. This is at idle with no other loads (A/C, backlight heater, in park, etc.).

If you are reading about the '7165 MAF ECM for the early TPI setups. It doesn't apply to your ECM.
