i was driving down the freeway here in vegas its 104 but the car was about 220 degrees running fine when i was going to pass a car it acted like it was going to run out of fuel now it is a new fuelpump about a year old now when the old one went out on me i didnt have the funds at the time so i bought a autozone not the really cheapo one but well. all i did was back off on the throttle and then eased on it and it was fine for a few minutes so i was back to driving down again and i noticed at about 2000 rpm it was going to do it again but i backed off again so when i got closer to home i punched it hard and it was fine did that a few more times and it didnt do anything so im kinda of stumped well i parked the car and notice the fuel tank was hissing (venting) so could that have been the problem i know they are supposed to do it but no CE light came one either thanks in advance

 

I bought my fuel pump from Advanced Auto i also have had mine for about a year now and my lo3 runs fine, my fuel tank also hisses/vents if i had to guess check your injectors make sure there not leaking around the orings or check your spark. Good luck.

 

thanks i forgot to mention i have a new dist. coil wires and spark plugs thanks they all been on for about 3 months
