Heads break-in????

Is there a break in period for new heads??? It didn't say anything about it in the installation guide that came with the heads (305 Worlds). I was gonna take it easy on them the first 50 miles or so, but wanted to see if it should be longer than that.

Re: Heads break-in????

There is no break in for new heads. However, depending on the head gasket you used and personal preference, some like to re-torque their head bolts after putting the engine through a few heat cycles.

OK, I'm gonna try to stay away from re-tourqing the bolts. The headers make it damn near impossible to torque the side bolts. Good to know the heads are good to go though, thanks.
