Found a clean '91 RS convertible thinking about buying. It has the 305tbi engine in it and it runs, but I am pondering on an engine swap. I have a perfect running '91 Suburban with a 454 tbi engine and trans in it but the rest of it is not so nice. What has to be done to make this swap work, ao is there even a way to make it work. I know that physically the engine will bolt in place but from there on and the tbi and computer I don't know about.

 

You should be able to take the wiring out of the truck and swap it in.
I would recomend doing something to strengthen the "frame" first.
You could twist the body on that car very eaisly.
I am actually thinking of doing the same thing.
