What is normal RPM?
Re: What is normal RPM?
I take it you mean idling or while driving.
At idle a V-8 should be if I remeber correctly between 650 and 750 800 RPM.
While driving down the road, it depends on how your car is geared, what gear you in and how fast your going.
But a general rule of thumb is a normal V-8 will cruise around 2100 to 2500 in OD.

Re: What is normal RPM?
From the AXKS calibration it is:
525 RPM in drive and between 525 and 900 RPM in park/neutral.
Note that you should use a scan tool for the RPM values. The dash tach is usually way off.
