Any curtain parts I could find at the JY (don't worry I find good condition parts) that would be cheap and swap into my 305? Trying to do a budget build but thought it might be easier to get something from a JY than online, i know new is a nicer idea but i can't be spending so much on a budget honestly... Trying to pull as much power without having to spend that much..

 

If you find an LT1 in a f-body the cam would be worth pulling and installing in your 305.

Most likely need to do some tuning. But this is true for any parts that change the VE and SA requirements of the engine (heads, exhaust, cam, ...).

Or, did you mean that you can still use the same push rods and lifters? Yes, as long as they are in decent condition they can be used with the LT1 cam.

ah ok, because i dont have the money to be buying new heads thats why, and i dont mind if i could buy a different cam and swapping it if i could still use my stock internals while still gaining.
