Axle/Gears: 3.23 Auburn Pro Series LSD
MSD 6AL and under cap module ?????

i need a new ing module that goes under the cap, but i also want to get a 6AL

can i use the 6AL with out replacing the stock module (its breaking up over 4k)


also how hard is it to install a 6AL on a HEI car

with the 6al you don't even need a module. it takes over the ign modules job

Not on a GM 3rd-gen EFI setup. Need the ignition module to interface with the ECM.

thats what i though..........thanks

anyway i mainly want to know how hard it is to install, im sure its a simple splice wires and all but i want to make sure its not a real PITA

oops i'm sorry i'm so used to dealing with carburated applications fuel injection never even crossed my mind

They aren't too bad wiring it in. Good possibility that MSD (autotronics, autronics?), has the manuals on line. Worth a look-see. They may also have adapter harness pieces to go to the module & coil.
