second gen snorkels

Yeah, um, just wondering if someone could tell me if a second gen dual snorkel air cleaner would work on my 92 TBI.

I think it sits to deep and might cause linkage problems but if it were higher it would work.

Re: second gen snorkels

I was looking at options because the original H.O. snorkels are $$expensive$$ and 9/10 rusty anyways. If I can't come up with anything else I will probably just get the black and red stamped open element in summit.

Re: second gen snorkels

At any rate, I went to the junkyard today and had a few DIY ideas on a snorkel/cold air set-up. Thought maybe a modified TPI Firebird breather could work nicely. We will see...
