i bought a 350 tbi out of a G20 van. everything except the rotating assembly is apart right now. the heads are off, oil pan is off, ect. i think when i put this back together, i'm thinking about installing a new camshaft and lifters. what is compatible with average aftermarket chip. im going to need a different chip anyways, i currently have a 305. i dont mind buying a "tbichips" or something like that, i just dont want to have to spend $300 on a chip

 

Gotta keep the specs very mild if you want any shot at it running close to correct. I'd call the chip company and ask them what they already have known-good programming for. Work it backwards from the way you're looking at it now if you want to use an "off the shelf" chip. Make the engine fit the programming, don't try to find a program that fits your engine.

If you're going to get one custom done, then that goes out the window and you tune for whatever your particular combo needs.
