Is this mini starter any good? Will it fit?

I did my searching. Logged 2 hours, so Please no blasting lol. K so what im looking at is a used starter the guy said was bought new off ebay, but would not fit on his 400 sbc. I have a 89 lo3, with 700r4. I am trading for $40 worth of parts that I have, & the guy is driving over 2 hours round trip to make this trade.

Has anyone used this starter? Any problems? I am taking it to the auto store first thing, to have them test it, but will it even fit? I am putting long tube headers on my car soon also. Thanks for any help guys. Heres the link to the same starter on ebay.

It should fit OK. I use powermaster 9600 series in my ride which appears similar to EBay unit. Powermaster clears headers and is much lighter and smaller than OE unit. Before hand make sure that you do not have staggered mounting flange (highly unlikely - found in HD truck blocks)

Looks like my summit starter as well. I just had to grind a corner of the mount block to get it to fit around the oil pan. Not hard.

Okay. Thanks for the help guys. All I have to do is test it, & it goes on the long list of things to do lol. Might be a good trade for me, since the long headers I just got, might need a mini starter. Pretty nice when parts fall from the sky.
