Here's a lesson to those who re-do their vacuum lines with silicone piping

Hey guys, my cars vacuum lines were messed up when I brought my car home.. I redid them with this 'AR Racing' stuff we had for our other car.

I tried to keep them away from heat as much as possible but yesterday I had a problem, I was stuck in traffic on Tecumseh road around lunch time (For those who live in Windsor, you understand) and my car got pretty hot (110* C on a car that's usually at 60* C...)

It sounded like I threw a main bearing, loud squeeling noise coming from the back of the motor.. I was ready to fix up the 350 I have in the garage and put it in.. Then I noticed one of my vacuum lines going to the back of the TB had heated up and squeezed closed, causing the noise... Easy fix, found more tubing and pushed some wire loom inside of it to prevent it from happening again.
