TPS sensor
Hello i need some help i have recnetly bought a TBI unit for a camaro.The original one i have is for a 1989 5.0 TBI and the onei bought is for a 1992 Camaro 5.0 the only difference is thta the TPS is not the same the on e i have is straight horizontal and the other one is oval will it affect it if i cut out the wires and connect a connector that goes to for that from the Junk yard any help is appreciated thanks

The connector pin out is very straight forward.
TPS pin out
Pin A is ground (black or tan)
Pin B is TPS signal to ECM - (blue)
Pin C is +5 volt reference (gray/pink stripe)
At idle you should get 0.6 Vdc and WOT around 4.3-4.5 Vdc
