putting a 92 305 tbi into a 85 trans am tpi

i looked and searched i didn't find what i was looking for. what i have is a good running camaro with a really rotted floors etc. i have a trans am that is good body wise but no engine . the trans am had a tpi 305 which is now missing. i want to put my camaro engine and all into the trans am . please lead me in the right direction.
i am really wanting to not have to spend a lot of money getting this thing to run right. please help. tell me what i need to do. i am seeing different things to do.

go carb. not really worth the hassle when you're doing something like this unless you have a plan.

far as i know it that tpi and tbi are totally different computer system... so just go with carb

I would swap ewerithing from the 92 TBI, including harness and ECM.
