my camaro 91 5.0 has lower oil pressure than i remember. when i got the car i remember it staying at 30 lbs now it goes down to 15 when at idle and low rpms while driving, if i hit the gas and the rpms raise the oil pressure will go back to 30 lbs is this normal?

 

It's probably going to be you oil sending unit. It's like 20 bucks at advanced auto parts. Try this first if this doesn't work it may be your guage or oil pump.

 

i got it fixed it was my oil, not sure what happened oil was about 2000 miles old but i changed it with 10-30 and now i got 30 at idel and up to 45 while driving.
