TBI HELP
I just rebuilt my tbi that belongs on my 88 chevy truck. Ya i know its not third gen related but the same tbi came on camaros. I have been having fuel leak probs with the tbi so i got the master rebuild kit which includes about everything except the diaphram. I put it all together and put it back on truck. Truck starts up but instead of the injectors spraying fuel they just drip. I went back and checked the little filter and o rings at the bottom of the injectors and they are fine. So i tried a different set of injectors i had from a different tbi. Put the new filters and o rings on and they still drip instead of spray like they are supposed to. If i dont figure somethan out i am going to throw the piece of junk in the yard and buy an intake and carb for it. Thanks

Re: TBI HELP
Check fuel pressure first. Unplug the injector wiring harnesses off the top of the injectors. Take a 9-volt battery and quickly tap the electrodes and listen to see if you hear a clicking noise. Do this to both injectors individually.
Also, go to the parts store and buy a noid light. Plug this into your injector harness and see if it lights up. Following instructions!!
Either no fuel pressure, no injector pulsing or the injectors are stuck.

Re: TBI HELP
Hi Everyone!
I have a Chevy 350 TBI (out of a 1987 3/4 ton truck) in a Jeep CJ7.
The throttle linkage was a mess when I got it. Replaced TBI from RV Moorse in Orange, CA.
Of course took it apart and now am having trouble putting all of the hoses and wires to and from the wires from smog stuff, intake manifold (Front & rear of intake hooking up the hoses). Can someone help with some simple step by step photos?
Thanks,
Ken
