Man , looking all over for info , if anything somebody write a book and sale it ! We need info bad!!!!!!!
I have a stock 305 vortec engine and heads i have a TBI intake that will mount to the heads
It seems like alot of people say i would need a tune but would'nt the PCM adjust since i'm close to stock I could see needing a tune if i put a bigger cam in or something
Also what would be the correct fuel injectors and fuel pressure?
I have PCM 16197427 with stock prom

 

Vortec heads flow considerably better than stock LO3 heads. The LO3 made 170 hp, the 305 vortec made 230 hp.

I think tuning it might be a good idea.

 

TBI chips has this form you fill out and then they send you a chip , i heard sometimes there not the best tune but i was thinking if i give them as much info as possible that mayby that will help them get it as close as possible and at least i'll have a chip thats better tuned then the stock one , i'll just use it until i find someone close by that i can pay to tune it for me or learn to tune myself
