1989 camaro rs 305 tbi lo3. I have changed the o2 senser, messed with tps and the iac. changed fuel filter . switched the tbi . did tune up and new coil. that is what i have done . The problem is . I have gotten it to idle while in park but as soon as i put it in to gear it dies. butt will start right back up . please help me . I want to keep the tbi butt I do not know what to do next. thank you very much.

 

Welcome to TGO. I would check the base distributor timing and set as required. Then check the fuel pressure. Service spec is between 9 and 13 psi.

When you "switched the TBI", was it the correct TB unit with the correct injectors? This is important.
