T.B.I. Fuel Test T-Fitting (Where to get)

I tried to find where to buy just that fitting that will screw on the metal inlet line so I can get whatever gauge I want but I can not find it. I really need it asap to see if my fuel pump is the culprit or what..

Very unlikely. Maybe in a big metro area. I had to mail-order mine, because I'm in the back end of nowhere.

I'm pretty sure I bought this one:

Otherwise it only screws into the Actron TBI pressure gauge, due to smaller thread size.

I found schrader fittings on eBay, had to buy a dozen or something. I've got plenty of extras.

So, yeah, if you don't have a fuel pressure gauge already, you might as well buy the package from Actron.

for anyone looking for a gauge with the adapter

Amazon.com: Actron CP7838 Professional Fuel Pressure Tester: Automotive Amazon.com: Actron CP7838 Professional Fuel Pressure Tester: Automotive

bought that one because i have an RS and an IROC so i needed a higher PSI gauge to work with both, it comes with everything you will need to test on just about any car, at about the same price

Put the T between the rubber and hard line, front driver side of engine bay, fit with no issues, do not try to install at the throttle body as it was too harsh of a bend and I nearly made my line useless before I realized it was not a good idea

I figured it wouldn't work behind the TB. I don't have any rubber lines on my car there all metal, but I'm guessing you mean the ones coming from the fuel tank. So that location reads pressure correctly? Just want to make sure you don't have to be right behind the FPR. How did you kill fuel/ fuel pressure to that line? One Time I opened that location to make sure I was getting gas, it flooded out super quick and almost filled a 32 oz cup

you definitely have two rubber fuel lines in the engine compartment, one is feed the other return on a TBI motor

follow the hardlines from the back of the throttle body, the one closest to the driver side is your feed line, follow it to the front of the engine and behind the alternator, you will see where it has about a foot of rubber line that connects the engine hard lines to the body hard lines, this is the location, its close enough to the fpr that it reads fine

No problem

Had the adapter on since last fall, driven maybe 200 miles so far with it on, no issues with it, the reading is as accurate as I need it to be, consistently reads just over 10 psi with the car running

You can if you want. I personally didn't simply because I wanted to get a cap for the Schrader valve that the gauge connects too.

Yes sir, I would like to cap the Schrader valve, but I haven't had a leak yet, it's an easy testing point, I also plan on installing an electronic fp gauge in the cabin, this will be a good hookup point, I will probably put thread sealant on it if I leave It on much longer

Re: T.B.I. Fuel Test T-Fitting (Where to get)

Finally got to installing the T fitting. the job all together was less than 20 mins haha worst part was crawling under the car to unplug the fuel pump fuse/relay whatever it is above the rear end.

I took pressure, shes reading at 11PSI!!! this 350 is getting starved!!! lol 61PPH at 11 PSI.... damn
