187 porting help!?!? worthit for budget minded?
Hello all, new to here, looking for someone kind enough to give a little wisdom and hopefully pictures of a bowl blend, exhaust cleanup, guide work, and how do I deshroud and make sure i dont hit the seats! and valves if installed? And how much of a valve nick is too muchto affect heating or airflow?? I really am on a strick budject, no give, gotsta get done soon. Daily driver, winters coming., Strict timeline and no $ for anything else!!
I surely cant afford a valve job ( reason for the 187's!, already good!) going on rebuilder .060 flat top 350 S-10( sorry guys, but were all family, right?) comp single 268 HI EN., 600 holley. any advice about working these heads, and assembly of heads to intake and whatnot would be very appreciated!! ( summit gaskets ok for quench?)
Also, anyone happen to have a diagram so I can wire my fuel cell to my 87 dash?
Thanks much, zjh9601
BTW, 12 years ago it was much easier to have a hot rod for a daily driver!!

Or, would i be better off with a set of very cheap ready to run 441's, or cheap ready to run 601's(unmolested, worried id have to do a deshroud and be back in my initial time issue,) Im looking for low end, and gas mileage for daily driver, Ill be running 3G at 75 mph, so top end not a big deal.
Thank you for any help!!

In case you havent found it yourself.
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tbi/...-headflow.html
For quench you neet to measure piston to deck, to chose the right gasket. Total piston to head should be 0.040".
What are the specs of the cam?
