4 barrel TBI

I have a few questions for those with knowledge on this subject.
I have a holley 750 cfm 4 barrle TBI unit, it came off of a truck that we built years ago 97 or 98. It was on a small block in an 89 chevy truck with the stock computer, Ed wright did the dyno tune on it and it worked great

Question is: I am thinking of using this again and from what I have read it wont work. What gives?
I have search this forum and have not come up with much.

Thanks

I think it is all about the ECU and the inability to handle the 4 injectors. You need an aftermarket ECU. EBL-ECU is the hot ticket. dynamicefi.com.

Re: 4 barrel TBI

I dont have the ecu that was running the unit before but there were no mods to the ecu, so what was different about this throttle body that allowed the ecu to run it with 4 injectors?

Uses Holley ECU.. My guess. Called Holley Projection. Still sold by Holley. Later units are sequential opening. Available used EBay.

Re: 4 barrel TBI

If it ran stock ECU then maybe the injectors that Holley sold with unit are compatible with GM ECU. I was of belief Holley was not compatible other than the TB itself with GM. Maybe someone else can offer more info.
