This feels like a really stupid post but I have just recently purchased a 1991 Formula. I have been looking all over the place for an open element air filter for it and have come up with nothing. I have went to orielly's pep boys and auto zone. The all have open elements but none of them have the right size opening for my throttle body They are all 5 1/8 and mine is a 5 3/8. So I finally called K&N directly to see what they had besides the drop in that my car already has in it. They told me they dont have anything but a drop in for my firebird. But they told me they could sell me a ram air kit for the TBI chevy trucks. I just dont know if it will fit under my stock hood. If any of you have any input I would appreciate it. I also want to know what if anything you can do to the throttle body besides spacers to make it flow better. Thanks

p.s. Does anybody know of a cheap intake that will work to help it flow a little better. It is a stock 350 breathing through 305 heads and intake I presume
