86 to an 89. Will I get the same hp
Hey everyone. I'm working on my first car here. The engine blew and now I found an 86 motor with a carb from a Firebird. I was wondering if I put the intake manifold with my TBI on it will it increase the horse power. If so, can I even put the manifold from an 89 on an 86.

No an 86 is a flat and a 89 is a roller keep with 88 and newer and intake bolts are a little different. Get a 350 for the same price.
